He has a problem which can be rectified, I wouldn't necessarily classify him as being a "train wreck" (yet), or even an acute/functioning alcoholic for that matter. That being said, he should have his keys taken away from him for a long time, go to AA as well as take some sort of court ordered course on the pitfalls of drinking and driving. He's young, he should be thanking his lucky stars no one was killed or injured. Seek help, get better as a person and concentrate on football.

Judging from his mannerisms, I would say he has some sort of social anxiety which is why he probably drinks. They said that his alcohol content was equivalent to 10 beers in one hour plus this is your second DUI at 21, he has a problem and should seek help.

This guy will be getting paid more than veterans on his team who have been working their asses off their entire careers. Blackmon walks in with a bad record, a DUI, and gets a fat contract? I say dump the kid or give him the minimum amount of guaranteed money. You know? You know? You know? He's the type that could end up being a one contract type of player who just wants the guaranteed money and walk away from the sport.
