  • I think EMI stands for Every Moronic Idiot. Im interested if you are still using the V Amp and what cab/ amp combos you prefer?

  • @journeyquest1 I[ve got some new stuff coming up soon with some new combos, but I'm still mostly using my old configuration of Brit Hi-Gain and a Standard 78' Cab with Chorus 2 on real low (emulation of the JAPE setting from the old Eventiede H-1000 harmonizer EVH used), ultra-room reverb down really low, some mild delay for ambiance.

In this video I was using my Paul Dean guitar tone emulation, I forget what I used but it's supossed to sound like an old Hiwatt 100.

  • @MrReverb5 Oh, and here's the thread.

  • @MrReverb5 For more info, I have a big long thread about it on Vintaxe as I'd been researching this guitar since I was sixteen. I love guitars like this that you don't see every day and don't know what they are and it turns out there is more to them than one could know at first sight.

  • @MrReverb5 I was watching VH-1 A to Z many years ago and saw 3 Loverboy videos, in 2 he was playing a guitar like this, and in the other one a red and black strat. Eventually my guitar teacher, knowing how much I like Loverboy, gave me a 1983 Issue of Guitar Player player with Paul Dean (Lead Loverboy), and he mentioned that Odyssey, a Canadian Luthier, made a limited run of these. Then he went to Hondo who put it into production from 1983-1984 in 2 different versions.

  • @creepingnet how did you learn about this guitar existing? great playing as always.

  • @exodia333 The time signature to this song is 4/4 if I believe right. I play mostly by ear. Definatley not 5/4, I was thrown off as I was keeping the audio low so that I don't get harassed by Sony/EMI so it threw me off.

all my other guitars are there, still have em, just have not had a lot of time to make a lot of videos.

  • GREAT STUFF WICKED

  • what happened to ur guitars

nice cover bro but what time signature is this 5/4
