He's not 'balancing'. HES SCARED STIFF!!! Have you any idea of the kind of injury you could cause him if he fell?! Guinea pigs aren't like cats and dogs. If they break a bone, that's it. And they don't do good with vets messing around them. You're a very irresponsible owner and I hope, for the piggies sake, that you rehome him to someone who actually has a brain cell!

I dont think youre trying to abuse him. I think youre ignorant. Hes not "performing".Pigs freeze when theyre terrified. It protects them in the wild from flying predators.They CAN actually die of fright.and they are fragile. Their bones are soft because theyre prey animals.Their bodies are close to ground(think organs)They can die from small falls.PLEASE RESEARCH YOUR PET

k it's not that big of a deal... guinea pigs aren't that fragile, they're actually pretty flexible and could've jumped off if he wanted to...
