Thanks for putting it up on Youtube. I love this song, it resembles "Better Days" as for the sounds. I think this song should have replaced "Corrupt" on the cd.

Great song. Very Kraftwerk in its minimalism. As I said on a comment for the box set extended version, this should have been on the album. It definitely needs songs with some balls to them, and Oh Well is one of them.

@81pluto Yeah I agree. It sounds as if they had bought too many synths and stuff, and didn't know what to do with the song, so they tried too many things. Yeah the version you're referring to is much better, and it suits the lyrics more.

@FuellingObsession Agreed, it was absolutely crazy to leave "Oh Well" off of the album. Also fairly groundbreaking since it's the first track Martin and Dave wrote together. I still feel the same way about "Come Back" though. I think the lyrics are weak and the production much too grungy and industrial for their style. There's a version they do acoustically on piano that's much better though. Perhaps you've heard it.

@81pluto My comment was from a year ago and I completely forgot that I had made that comment. But after a year, I have to say that I've changed my mind, because Corrupt is a decent track. But I still think that the album is a bit slow, and could still use a strong, energetic track like Oh Well. I'd rather replace it with Little Soul.

Depeche Mode without Alan Wilder sounds like crap. Even Garbage used to sound better. Any kid could create a track like that with a Nord lead. Lame.
