Gee! I remember this! It was Spencer's eternal battle with those archives! Thank you for posting this!

@ctrabs74 Well, it was a show for young children, so either the cheesiness was intentional, or the writers were really bored. ;-)
-
The show was an intentional throwback to classic scare comedies that the Three Stooges and Abbott & Costello used to do. Tucker & Storch were as good a team as ever, and Bob Burns' "Tracey" was great.

would watch every saturday morning/afternoon, cartoons went from 6am till 1pmish

That's right, Tracy...a little gentle persuasion always works.

Filmations Ghost (space bar) Busters , would make a great video game...

Columbia Pictures paid a licensing fee to Filmation to use the name "GhostBusters" for their 1984 movie. Just to clear that up.
That said, wow, this show is pretty cheesy, even by 70s standards. Like...

@Mattleycrue66 Yeah I remember it but I think it was when the boys went up to "that big castle on the other side of town" where the ghosts always lived later on in this episode.
Speak for yourself, I liked it. This must date me date something awful, but I used to watch it every Saturday morning.
