Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime MP-04 (Part 1)

This turned out to be so much longer than I wanted it too. I get cut off at the end here, so I made a Part 2. Really tried to stray from repeating stuff I heard from other reviews, but whatcha gonna do, right? There are so many videos with this figure, it's almost impossible. Enjoy!

I got an Hasbro 20th Anniversary MP-01...looked pretty cool with somesort of damage version where there is black mark on cylinder..that is normal from manufature...so far it seem ok for me, as i will pre order the original trailer soon..

Yeah, if you're gonna order the trailer separately you gotta buy the after-market version, which isn't as cool as this one I think. But I actually really like the battle damaged looking prime minus the short smoke stacks. Almost bought that one.

Awesome review! You know my Optimus, which isn't the MP-04 version, also has a loose chest plate one tight plate. Also, it was tough for me to insert his legs at first. The first time I transformed him I had a tough time getting his legs to go in by pushing those silver things in. I was constantly afraid I was gonna break something and be pissed that I wasted $100+ on it. I actually don't remember how much I originally paid. I think I got fucked over and overpaid at the last Comic con I went to.

Hmmm, i think it depends on which American version you got though. If you got the Prime with no stomach stain and blue gun, yeah, $100+ is too much. But if your Prime has the black stain and black gun, I think that's about right. But yeah, I'm probably not gonna transform him for a while. He's just so much cooler to me in robot mode.

Ya my mp-01 has chips on it's paint by the windows to and one is tighter than the other but other that that he is perfect

My masterpiece Megatron actually fell off of a 6 ft shelf onto a hard floor and was absolutely unharmed, I've actually never known why people say it's so fragile, the one I bought is quite a tough toy, and thats not to say I have been testing that, but things happen and it's always been perfectly fine. Also, my Mp-04 should be here tomorrow/ Monday at the latest, I'm pretty excited.
