Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld - ABOVE ALL ELSE

In 1992, champion skydiver Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld was in a plane crash that killed many of his friends and left him with life threatening injuries and in a coma for 6 weeks. When he regained consciousness, with his broken neck caged in a halo brace, he planned and then executed the most astounding comeback with his team. Told at one point by doctors that he would never skydive again, "Dan B.C." is now a six-time world champion, and coaches teams around the world.
Incorporates some of the gorgeous skydiving photography of Norman Kent Productions, along with footage from the true story itself. Movie is being produced by Mary Pat Avery

Was so fortunate to meet Dan in Eloy, shortly after arriving there for our first time. Long story short, he approached our novice group out of the blue one evening while sitting outside a team room we'd rented for the weekend at the DZ. We didn't know him, or of him at the time and he didn't know us, but spent time getting to know all of us, treating us like we were very special people. It's what I love about the skydiving community, but particularly Dan. What a story his life would make.

I was lucky enough to meet Dan B.C. and spend a week with him at a 4-way camp in Hinckley, Illinois. He's a wonderful person and I would love to see his life story made into a movie. What an inspiration.

great video love it. I did a 2way skydive in arizona at holiday boogie in 2001 with dan. I got to film a 4way he organized. best coach ive ever met. He's world class in ability and attitude and maybe more so in attitude. Thats a strong statement. Bye the way, was so in awe of his relative work speed during our jump. thnx again for bringing back a memory of skydiving with ban bc. best of the best!
