Johnson Electric Production Energy Management with Saia S-Energy system

Johnson Electric is the world leader in motor and motion subsystems. They have an annual sales of over $2 billion USD, and are publically listed in Hong Kong since 1984. The company decided to start a systematic energy management program at their largest production facility, which produces 3 million products a day, and is located in Shenzhen China. They installed over 200 smart electrical meters along with an energy management system, supplied by Saia-Burgess Controls. Over 2 million kWh is being managed by the system each month. The data from the energy meters is collected by the Saia S-Energy Manager. The data is then read by a Saia S-Energy Logger and written to a SQL database. The data can then be viewed and analysed by management through an interactive web based system. Making energy consumption immediately transparent across the organisation.
