That's a bummer!

So amazing how big a fire can get, without any known hazardous materials. IE petrol diesel etc, this fire would have been difficult to knock down.
Best regards.

there was baseball size pieces of ash all over the town as far as half a mile, it was a good thing it was raining or there wouldve been house fires all over

@TwilightHPLuvr I live right near it, I can walk to it from my house.. well I could..

@ews1951 the oil that they use on the lanes are very flamable and can be entirely in flames in a matter of seconds if there is even a little spark

The building itself was a hazardous material. Years of redoing the tar on the roof, on top of the waxed wooden lanes with all those bowling balls around. Plus the alchohol in the bar with all the ceiling tiles and wrapping on pipes. Mix all that in a very large building and you can see the result.

What was so flammable in that structure causing the fireballs? Incredible.

The building was 81 yers old, so all the materials provided plenty of fuel to the fire. I'm sure the wooden lanes, wax, and alchohol from the bar helped.
