Part 2 of 2. The first American release in the popular Japanese "Goemon" series, Legend of the Mystical Ninja was an early entry in the Super Nintendo's lineup that unfortunately was ignored by many kids of the day. But those that looked past its strange qualities were rewarded with one of the best games of the 16-bit era. With anime, manga, and para para dancing all the rage now, perhaps the West is ready to give this gem another shot.

  • I remember the N64 game, which had a sitcom laugh track and evil musical stars... from space... in giant robots.

  • dude this game looks awesome!

  • Samurai Pizza Cats greatest show in the 90s, keep up the good reviews

  • @paulio4259 I think he can stand to improve in a lot places. Mainly in that he seems to try and focus a lot on humor in his videos when he's just plain not very funny, and yet at the same time, perhaps by accident, he manages to be very informative. Meaning he should either shift the focus of his writing, or work on his horrible joke deliveries (the problem area being they just arent quick enough and tend to linger, speeding up the punch line/movement can work a lot in that area)

  • @shadowmaksim Oh yeah! I remember renting that great game. Remember that part with the flaming platforms that you need to throw ice projectles at to freeze? That part ticked me off sooooo much as a kid.

  • This is one of the best games I've ever played in life - I still have the snes cart. :P

  • FUCK YEAH SAMURAI PIZZA CATS!!!!

  • I don't really know why, but I keep getting the feeling that you (Roo) doesn't exactly like Japan. This is really bothering me since I know it isn't true. Whatever, I think it's the lack of sleep.

Anyway, I remember playing the N64 version of this series(?). It was long, had a lot of stuff to do, and had 4 playable characters with their own set of skills. Not to mention each stage had day/night versions that switch mid-stage. Oh yeah, giant "beeping" robot battles. Ah...memories.
