Curbing the Crisis, a 28min documentary made by TIGER WATCH, is an eye-opener, concerning the loss of tigers in Ranthambhore National Park, one of Indias most celebrated tiger reserves. It is a must-watch for those concerned with wildlife conservation!

The entire footage is original and not dramatised, recreated or digitally modified in any form. The film's total budget including shooting, editing and post-production has costed less than Rs. 5000 ($105)

  • I hope these people were killed as mercilessly as they killed the animals......hard to even listen to them talk so dispassionately about killing....what if it was the other way around? The animals were killing so called humans...?

  • all thing is happen due to illiteracy in village area which is inside national park zone.

  • Devi Singh said 20 to 25 have been poached.. this means, somewhere around 40 to 50 have been poached. The Government allocates several million for tiger conservation, if even 10% of that money is re-invested in improving the lot of these poachers, they will abandon the trade. The poachers look extremely poor and it is not shocking that they do these illegal things to sustain themselves.

  • Awesome work

  • These startling revelations from these poachers must be used to strengthen the anti-poaching campaign by the authorities. Their operational techniques must be used in plugging the loop holes before the crime is committed and not after. Its unbelieveable that the organized tiger body parts trade starts right here and it is killed for as little as Rs. 50 - 60,000, which, if shared by a gang of 7-8 gives each one a mere Rs. 7,000. while the Mafia at the top makes millions. Well done Tiger Watch.
