zizzle pinball mod (part 2)

This is part 2 of my Zizzle pinball modification project, where I've added a captive ball, a post between the flippers, and moved both the "Skeleton Pirate Battle" shot and the skillshot to better spots.

man i wish you showed how you moved the post to between the flippers, cause i really want to do that too...that should have been done in the design of the games.

@shadowflame1976 I measured and found the right spot that was right in between the flippers, but low enough that the ball had a good 1/8" clearance on either side of the post. Then I drilled a 3/8" hole there, and moved one of the posts from the 3-post group just below the pop bumpers down to there.

@joeheeger Write to Zizzle.. there's a forum where this Zizzle guy comments on..  He gave me a free part to replace my faulty pop bumpers. Good service.

Wow.. now you need to re-program the machine to give you a free shot if your ball drains with no points. One of the reasons I gave my Heroes vs. Villains away for free. Got sick of getting to the next level to beat Magneto.. with 7 BALLS.. and then having them drain one after the other all of a sudden..

awesome! How's part 3 of your mods progressing excited to see what you got cooking for that. The target moving and rewiring in this part was really impressive.

@joeheeger Alright, I took a stab at it and fixed it. Not sure if it's right but it works. I sure like working on real pinball machines, compared to this one. The parts are way too small for my hands to work with, lol.

I just picked one on Craigslist for $15, but the spring on the plunger (that works the ball loader/stager) isn't there b/c a post or hook or something broke off that holds it.

I was curious if you have a pic of the shooter assembly or anything. I'm trying to figure out where to put the spring and how, but lack the vision, and can't find any pics online anywhere, or in the manual.

those posts that you moved, there is nothing holding them to the playfield other than 3 screws at the bottom? they have no real purpose other than to block the path to the bumpers? no wires or anything attached? just undo the screws and they come off?

Nice, thank you for the information! cause that gap is way too big for a smaller sized pinball machine, in fact i think that gap is bigger than on a coin-op one,..
