Trust Your Leaders On AB 2072?

I've been watching different announcements and statements coming from deaf leaders on AB 2072 after it was vetoed by California's Governor. Some of them tried to save their faces by celebrating. Some of them went even further and misled their people. Some of them misinterpreted the veto statement by the Governor. But none of them really captured my attention until I saw a video done by Ken Davis with Deaf Newspaper. What kind of leaders are they? How could they allow their people to be misguided and misled with misinformation on top of misinformations?

I agree, its shameful to mislead uneducated deaf community which are the majority while miniority few who are educated are misleading these who are not educated or people with distorted way of thinking into celebrating of their destruction.

what a shamed whoever the leader of afa or dh or any company seems dont get it from bill ab 2072. i am sorry that i have to say. anyway, i am glad to figure some information by candy's blogs that i already read and understandable. fully agreement with candy which is the ab 2072 have asl including, as a true facts. well, guess the leader of california lost or out of control when the veto of bill ab 2072 including ASL! whoever the afa or dh or any company drive me nut by a misinformation.

Thanks for bring up about Deaf Newspaper/Ken Davis. Most of the time, I don't watch his videos. I just finished watching his video ... really embarrassed. I wonder, did any deaf leaders contacted him quickly? I personally think he has no business to explain about this bill.

They don't value ASL and they don't care about deaf babies. The yellow t-shirts camp blew the opportunity from the very beginning and their "celebrating" shows either complete illiteracy or toxicity. Whichever it is it's a huge disadvantage for deaf children and the community as a whole.
