Homemade sloppy joes are so easy and fast to make. There really isn't a need to by the canned Manwich stuff. Serve these bad boys up on some toasted potato buns and bam! A delicious, hearty, filling dinner.

I like to served sloppy joes with tater tots or bake fries with a salad or corn on the cob and of course ice cold southern sweet tea just completes the meal!

Enjoy!!

  • I like to put Heinz 57 and A1 in my sloppy joes. Instead of ketchup and barbecue. But thats just me :)

  • @nichole307 oh that sounds yummy!! Gotta try that next time because I love A1.

  • It looks great. Sometime I substitute ground turkey and for a veggie sloppy joe I used the morningstar farms meal starter crumbles. Thanks for sharing.

  • @ansbach74 Great idea! Those crumbles are so good, can't even tell it's not meat.

  • @KatharinaSophieS No , it adds a flavor of smokiness to the food , kinda like smoked turkey , chicken , beef , salami , but in liquid form :)

  • thanks for the recipe, dont know where to get liquid smoke tho.
