Wilfred Brimley is my favorite in the movie. I've liked him in almost everything I've seen him in like The Thing, End of the Line and even the Ewok movie. It's hard to believe he was only 50 when he made Cocoon. He looked so much older. You should check out the sequel. I think you might like it. I found it to be a pretty worthy follow up. Not quite as good as the original, but very watchable.
wow, you're just getting to see this movie. i remember this film back when it came out and for me it always puts a smile on my face when i watch it. you must really have loved e.t. to have mentioned it so many times. and i don't think e.t. was all that. anyways, it's weird that you just finally saw this and it was hbo or showtime last week. it's one of my favorite movies to watch time & time again. overall great review on it. = )
@MrKARproductions2 Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed watching it. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sequel sometime soon now.
