  • OMG, 30 years since l was there working as a DJ....lol

Never will forget my "ad-lib" entry onto the floor with a "new" remote mircophone and what was going to be giving out prizes for best on floor skaters..... Only to fall on my arse and swear over the mic.... hilarious indeed

If you want to know, the songs most played at that time was Bonny Tiler's TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART hehehehe

  • Thanks for posting this video. I went there as a kid with a school group in the late 1980s and didn't do to well. But I took up inline skating in 2006. Just a few years too late to try the rink out again! Ah well..... If anyone else knows about the history of the rink, please contact me through YouTube.

  • haha the memories! my dad coached the 'box hill braves' so spent many nights playing space invaders there. also set the party room carpet on fire when a creative birthday cake got too creative.

  • Great Video. I used to go most weekends in the 80's. I went with my 2 older brothers. My dad was the founder of the Apple Carts and they where cool. We used to get in for cheaprer too ! ! !

  • Great Video. I used to go all the time in the 80's with my brothers. My dad was the founder of the Apple Carts, so we went on the weekends for cheaper and sometimes for free.
