@philsamreb this is one of my most memorable ads of the period. it was really the first time we had seen the same ad sprerad over many others and I just wihed that they had continued the series with the 'Reward' for the capture of the guy being the theme. great work well done

I remember this advert so well. It had me in stitches. No one had done anything like it before so it really seemed that the Carling ad had gatecrashed the next advert. And then just when you thought that was it - it bursts in to a soap powder ad. Brill !

Seeing this first time around (1983?) I laughed as I had never before, and rarely since. I have described it to several people ine the meanwhile to be met with blank faces. So glad to have found it as I have now redeemed my sanity. Priceless.

OMG! I remember seeing this when I was a child! I remember looking on you tube for it, years ago with no luck. Thank you for posting this and bring a big smile to my face. They just don't make adverts now like they did in the eighties!

Hi,
I did this ad with my copywriter when I was working at WCRS, an agency which was then in Covent Garden. It was shot by a guy called Quentin Masters who used to have a production company called SW11. It was great fun to do. Glad it's remembered.x
