  • They are Continental IO-520 engines. It was the first engine run since getting the engines overhauled, the entire electrical system upgraded, and replaced, and all new avionics systems. Also extensive sheet metal work to repair corrosion, and damage to the lower hull skin.

  • I think the beautiful part is that those aren't the original engines.....the Widgeon originally had Ranger engines......those look like Lycomings or Continentals....mostly likely the aircraft just had the work done and that was the first engine trial with the new engines.
