People who criticize the pastor need to study the Bible as he did. He has two MA's and a doctorate in theology and has been honored with 8 doctorates from US universities. He served his country honorably both as a Marine and in the Navy. He received 3 presidential commendations for his service. He has done more for this country and he is far more a patriot than anyone I have seen criticizing him. Don't buy the lie created by the MSM. Seek the truth!

You just don't get it. This is not hate speech. He is pointing out the fallacies that the US Gov. and some of her people have done (these people ARE white) This is not to say to hate all white people or even to hate some white people. It is to empower Wright's black audience with a sense of pride in their morality. If you are not part of a group considered socially inept, you can't understand how important nonviolent empowerment is. I don't see members of this church attacking white people.

Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago where Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has been a member for two decades, slurred Italians in a piece published in the most recent issue of Trumpet Newsmagazine.
"(Jesus') enemies had their opinion about Him," Wright wrote in a eulogy of the late scholar Asa Hilliard in the November/December 2007 issue. "The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans."
