IMHID || Lolena/Niley || Episode 3 :D

SO sorry for taking SO long on this. If anybody knows me, I have a curse that I can NEVER get past the 2nd episode. x] But, I forced myself to think. Sorry if it sucks. :/

In The Car
Selena's POV
I smiled at him and buckled my seat belt.
"Ready?" He asked, while putting the key into the ignition.
I nodded. I ran my hands over my arms and shivered.
"Cold?" He asked.
"A little bit." I said, nodding.
He reached for the knob and turned the air down. I breathed out in relief.
"Thanks, but you didn't have to..I mean, it's your car." I smiled, reassuringly.
"It's no problem, it was the least I could do..." He said, forcing a smile.
"Don't you need the directions to my house?" I asked, looking at the road.
He shook his head. "No, I remember." He smiled, and we drove silently for the rest of the ride.
After about 10 minutes, he pulled into my house.
"This it?" He asked, biting his lip, his eyes silently prayed that he wasn't wrong, because it would probably be too much embarrassment to handle.
I nodded. "Don't worry, it's my house." I giggled, and grabbed my bag. I opened the door carefully and got out of the old truck. I figured it was a hand-me-down from his dad or something, because it was most likely an '87. I fixed my bag on my shoulder and leaned down, and thanked him again.
"It's no problem." He repeated. I smiled half heartedly, and pushed the door shut with my free hand. I began to walk up my driveway, until I heard the window crack open.
"Selena!!" He shouted.
I turned around with a smile, "Yes?" I bit on my top lip and closed my eyes, praying that he'd ask me out.
"Can I have your number?" He asked.
I opened my eyes and walked back over to his car, leaned down, and rested my arms on where his window was. "Sure. Do you have a pen?" I asked.
He nodded and reached into the glove compartment, and dug a pen out.
"Give me your hand." I said, clicking the pen on.
He reached his hand over, and I wrote the number down, and re-writing over it, just to make sure it wouldn't accidently wash off.
I clicked the pen shut, and gave it back to him. I smiled, waved one last time, and walked upto my house. Once I was on the porch, I turned around. I smiled at the roar of the engine starting up, and watched him drive away. I sighed dreamily and walked in my house. I shut the door, and leaned into it, and smiled, letting out another dreamy sigh.
"Hello Sunshine." My dad said, looking up from his paper. "How was your first day?" He asked, chickling at my strange behavior.
"Amazing." I smiled, and jogged up the stairs with the biggest smile on my face, that's been missing for quite a while.
