ENGLISH @ WORK is an Austin, TX based non-profit whose mission is to provide essential and customized English language instruction in the workplace for businesses that have limited English language proficient employees. We do this with two goals in mind: improve the employees' (our students) opportunities for an improved quality of life and increase the employers' competitive advantage.

Since our founding, we have served over 500 local workers in 39 classes at 28 businesses in the service, healthcare, and construction industries.

Our students come from 30 countries all over the world and speak over 20 languages, but they all have one goal - to speak English well enough to do a good job and lift their families out of poverty.
