• It doesn't matter HOW many lethal targets you know--no one is going to just LET you hit them.
• What's to stop a determined attacker from hitting yours first?
To see some of the drills spoken of here, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XVAjC2XIYM ( vid clip #16) Intro to Guided Chaos Combat Conditioning).
• The key to becoming Adaptive is combining internal sensitivity principles from authentic internal arts (tai chi, bagua, etc) with hard core Combatives. Guided Chaos is the fastest way to learn this.

  • Really like what you teach, just wished people would give more thought though of doing all they can to avoid bare handed fighting. I am WELL aware of some things happen so fast, bare hands is all you have to work with, but in the vast majority of cases, a tool(s) can be put into action extremely fast if people just kept their awareness level up. Using tools is a much smarter approach to self defense. There is just too much emphasis on bare hand fighting, is all.

  • @rbt4rbt 1) Awareness is the most important self-defense technique of all. 2) A knife makes you an instant 20th degree black belt. A gun is even better. 3) Unfortunately, getting your weapon out in time is a problem, even if it's just a pen or a clipboard. Cops know the 21 foot rule: a charging knifer can stab you before you can draw a firearm. 4) By comparison, your hands are always loaded and ready.

  • I used to do Karate and that was the reason that made me interested in Martial Arts. I saw many video of street fightings en criminal attacks on internet and I never saw somebody fight like in the movies, even the real martial artists. In a fight wins always somebody who creates order in chaos. The best attack is the unexpected attack. Because this rule is known by criminals too, it makes for good people difficult to react to. Therefore one must be trained to anticipate the unexpected attact.

  • @lukaqota Great points.

  • PLS SHOW US KNIFE ATTACKS?

  • Someone thumps you so you "start snapping his head of his body" ??? Talk about overkill, block him, strike him hard and leave. This so called self defense stuff creates an un-calm and over protective un-easy state of mind. What about life itself? You could spend your life learning to protect your life that you never really lived properly because you lived like this. Find peace of mind, peace of heart and peace with nature. This is the way life should be.

  • Hope Ridenhour doesn't mind getting slapped in the face/eyes & getting his head torqued the way he did to Tino in this clip. lol.

  • @mattkovsky Yes, guns are limited for time and for legal reasons. I don't even consider a knife for defense. I do like deception. Having them see what is not really seen. As you know, just because someone approaches bare handed, they can have a weapon out just before reaching you are during the fight. Again, if a person is aware, they should NOT be bare handed. More time should be given to tools is my train of thought. I have NO concern about being fair. Thank you though for being a gentleman.

  • Wise words from a wise man. I salute you sir for your realistic approach to the self defense. I don't know how things work in other countries but in my country (turkey), when you get in a fight against one guy, the situation can change from 1vs1 to 20vs1 in seconds. And when you see the giant kebab knives you realize shit just got real. Getting lynched under broad daylight is pretty common here. And the other civilians around you just watch because of fear. Thank you again for showing reality.

  • Thanks for sharing! : )
