girls have two dots on their "under-belly". Boys do not.

thats not how you tell..... little girl, you know NOTHING!!! you tell what sex they are by looking under the 4th setb of legs and there nyoy will find the reproductive "spots"

Not to be rude but that is not how u tell if they are a boy are a girl
here is how u pick them up let them come out of there shell far enough but to see the top part of there back legs nd if they have a black dot then they r a girl nd if they dont they are a boy but that does sound like a way that some people tell but thats not how the vet sayed to

Look, I have three cute little hermies living in a 100 gallon tank, with real plants, lots of hiding places, soft sand, and they all love it and are still living after nine years. I had them since I was five, and even then, I knew their CORRECT gender.
Why would I be jealous of a seven year-old girl who has hermit crabs, living in a habitat that does not suit any of their needs, when I have my own in a more suitable habitat?
