nice video i love it. it some what reminds me of flight 261 thought cause it crashed the same year u recorded this .

Indeed, we were scheduled on the next flight on a B737-700 but we were early and they offered us this MD-80 flight. I had the same strange feeling when we boarded this flight. I wasn't afraid or anything but it sure reminded me of Flt 261.

I miss the days when the Alaska MD-80 was as common as a Alaska 737 at the gate the sad part is none unlike the 737-200 Alaska saved are in a museum. All in the scrap yard :(

I like the MD80. I have flown many of them since that AS accident. That has not even crossed my mind when i fly on one. They are great little planes.
