Great self control of Theo, but this isn't Doggy Zen, it's obedience. Theo isn't in a state of real calmness.

2 people are jealous of how well trained theo is. Great job!

Wauuwww !! really amazing and good dog ! :D

Wow, great video... i doubt my dog would stay still that much time... do not feel bad, I've seen that people that complain too much about the methods used, are people that do not spend enough time with their dogs ...
So, i have a question.. your dog actually moved a little in second 51? Is that allowed, will that be penalized? or are the rules very strict?

He's amazing, and you too :)
I wish every owner spent the same time as you with his Borders!

wonderful Job!
Something else people should know is, just how much 'border collies', such as Theo, need 'thinking' games as much as active pyhsical games. There is no doubt in my mind that 'Theo' is a very 'happy' dog. And you have done a wonderful job of teaching and setting example for those who believe they must use punishment to get behaviors like this.
'Look mom! No shock, jerk, or shout!

Thank you! I got really sad when I got those negative comments. Anyone can see how happy he is when he finally gets his reward.

In the FCI international obedience program you must learn the dog to lie down totally still. It must not move, no matter what happens around your dog. The film is my way to show that you actually can learn your dog to lie still, by learning it with play. It's not learned by force!!

Thank you Tania. As the reactions on Facebook have been the opposite that I thought :-( I have to explain for all who watch this film: you should know that all what you see is my dog doing of free will...and it's a happy dog raising from the lie down position knowing that the ball, his reward is comming. That the ball is rolling on his nose wasn't on purpose. Sorry for that Theo!
