Pestival Artist in Residence Noboru Tsubaki is created a unique Vegetable Wasp homage to Michael Jackson at his studio in Southbank Centre. Inspired by Noh Theatre and insectoid manga super heroes, Tsubaki is created a kind of cocoon for Jackson to enable him to traverse between the world of the living and the dead. Tsubaki will wear the suit and take on the spirt of Jackson! He also references the totyukasou, which is a mould that controls its insect prey and eventually destroys them, in a similar fashion to the parasitic human insects that surrounded Michael Jackson.
