Jack takes a stand against cancer and AIDS patients and returning veterans suffering from their injuries. He indicates we should continue the practice of throwing people in jail for the crime of simply trying to relieve their suffering. He maintains this position despite the overwhelming abundance of research that has proven the effectiveness of cannabis in treating a wide variety of debilitating medical conditions, the numerous credible medical organizations that have endorsed its use as a safe and effective drug, and 75% public support for allowing the use of cannabis as prescribed by a doctor. Jack should be ashamed, but his stance here is not really much of a suprise, considering his recent statement that marijuana is a "gateway" drug ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryAybz2XDWw ), a widely discredited theory that pushes the limits of dishonest reefer madness propaganda. Conway even uses his belief that marijuana is a "gateway" drug to justify his opposition to allowing farmers to grow industrial hemp as a crop, which is allowed in almost every other industrialized nation in the world except the United States. If Jack truly cared about Kentucky farmers as much he claims to, he would be in favor of allowing them to grow a valuable cash crop that we currently have to import from major producing countries such as Canada, China, and France. Too bad Jack can't see through his reefer madness to support policies that would greatly benefit Kentucky farmers and people with serious medical conditions.

  • Say goodbye, Jack....

    Just Say Now!!

  • Of course Jack is against medical marijuana. He is in favor of Big Liquor, since they give Mrs. Jack her paycheck. Legalizing marijuana means stripping power and money from some of Jack's biggest supporters. The law enforcement/prison complex depends on all those pot arrests to keep the overtime flowing.

  • Sorry to tell you Jack but this "ban everything" approach just isn't working. You idiots are funneling billions and billions into this retarded drug war, and yet I can make 1 phone call and get a bag of cannabis within an hour. That is the total failure of this ridiculous war on drugs. You can't legislate human behavior people.

  • @MaxamillianArturo Because alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't, despite the dangers of alcohol. People say marijuana is a drug - and it is - so it should be illegal. Alcohol is also a drug. People die from alcohol poisoning when they binge, cirrhosis from chronic drinking, car accidents, addiction. It doesn't make sense to ban marijuana when we allow alcohol. Calling attention to an arbitrary legal distinction.

  • @TreachMarkets Why do Marijuana smokers always compare weed to alcohol when we arn't talking about alcohol.

  • @MaxamillianArturo Most white trash tend be drinkers instead of weed smokers. Weed tends to make you more introspective and more likely to consider the viewpoints of others. Alcohol tends to make you more likely to be on an episode of Cops, drunk in your front yard wearing a wifebeater screaming gibberish while a cop wrestles you to the ground.

  • @rgiblin6 And....?

  • @bereccareanne He also thinks the Jews commited 911 so....

  • @TreachMarkets Definitely explains all the white trash there.

  • Good work Jack. Funny how this theory has been "discredited" yet I dont know one pot head who didn't go on to do harder more harmful drugs.

  • I'm from Kentucky and they have just as many illegal narcotics as marijuana. So go ahead and green light it. Bud= tax money and pain relief.

  • What a prick.
