he plays vintage marshalls, so he couldn't get them through his sponsorship, even if marshall gave away amps. he has 2 or 3 heads going at most, and same with the cabs.

They're real heads and cabs, but most of them don't have any electronics, they're just props. Also, Jim Marshall himself has stated that they don't give away amps, so Yngwie has to buy his amps just like everyone else.
