Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a 1989 comedy film. The directorial debut of Joe Johnston and released through Walt Disney Pictures and Silver Screen Partners III, the film tells the story of an inventor who accidentally shrinks his and his neighbor's kids to 1/4 of an inch with his electromagnetic shrink ray and sends them out into the backyard with the trash.

Rick Moranis stars as Wayne Szalinski, the inventor who accidentally shrinks his children. Marcia Strassman portrays his wife, Diane, the "honey" in the film's title, the titles of the sequels, and the Disney park attraction. Matt Frewer and Kristine Sutherland star as the Szalinskis' next door neighbors, Russ and Mae Thompson. Thomas Wilson Brown, Jared Rushton, Amy O'Neill and Robert Oliveri star as Russ Jr. and Ron Thompson and Amy and Nick Szalinski.

  • Why the fucking would they fucking stop fucking smoking in fucking pg fucking movies these fucking days?

  • You can very much have scorpions in the backyard, especially if you live in Georgia or North Carolina. It's possible - we have them in the house sometimes.

  • Can't someone upload the Borrowers from 1997?

  • fuck

  • @libra92kg lmaoooo that's what I was thinking!! Like where the fuck do these people live??

  • I read somewhere that the way they made the giant cheerio is like this: They painted a big rig tire brown, and while the paint was still wet, they inflated balloons of different sizes and stuck them in the paint. When the paint dried, they popped the balloons and peeled them away, giving the fake Cheerio it's grainy, cereal texture.

  • Man the opening of this movie takes me back
