Folk guitarist / singer / songwriter John Smith performs at the Liverpool Summer Pops in July 2006. He supported both Jools Holland and Deacon Blue that week. This video is of him performing 'Winter', one of his own songs, and one that shows off his unique guitar tapping talent.

    I saw him supporting david gray @ Westonbirt.

    The people right next to me where talking and critsicing him all the time until he plays that song. He let them spechless and I feel really well.

    He's really talented. He deserves much more attetion

  • @melancholykoala he used to support john martyn, saw them both live in one night, was a blessed night.

  • I saw him two nights ago in Vancouver opening for Lisa Hannigan. I'm very disappointed that I've never heard of him.

  • @TheVitasigma he's got a few similar songwriting techniques but their voices are very different but yea their songs have this similar sound..maybe thats why they both have the same manager as well!
