There is so little oil in Alaska that it would be better to develop and use renuable energy sources. Drilling will ruin an irreplacable eco system. By insulating homes with 20-25cm insulation, tripple glazed windows, the cooling and heating needs are dramatically reduced. Insulated, don't drill.
