There have been over 14 nations who have employed national healthcare and it has FAILED. In Canada, the healthcare system accounts for 45% of the National Budget. Oh, and did I mention that if a system like this is ever implemented, it can NEVER be reversed. Just try to cancel social security - the biggest beauraucratic failure in the last century & see just how well that goes.

If the nation can't pay it's bills now, how's it ever going to pick up the healthcare tab, too???

George Bush's economic boom? Where have you been? The last time I checked the Euro being worth twice as much as the dollar didn't exactly count as economic boom. And guess what, we're already paying lots of taxes, the difference is the government is using them to fund a terrible, senseless war instead of helping its own citizens. All I can say is I just can't wait until the tyrant is out of the white house and this country has a chance to get back to where it was before the last 8 years of hell.
