driving in cebu city, philippines...where *everyone* has the right of way simultaneously! making for some hilarious, if not life threatening, gut-wrenching, daredevil tours de force in what winds up being not infrequently virtual visitations in superhuman time.. (i'm a native new yorker, having driven in manhattan on and off for over 30 years, but never seen anything remotely this chaotic! thing is, filipinos are incredibly good drivers with lightning reflexes...except they drive like anarchists! granted, new yorkers drive like maniacs on methadrine, but at least we have rules! i've actually witnessed even worse driving in shanghai, china!)

Ha, ha, ha you didn't mention that there's few accident. The roads are tight so it's slow driving fatal accident rarely happens. Fatal accidents are usually cause by drunk drivers. All types of moving things gets to share the road. Yhep that's Philippines.

I didn't think driving there was that bad, I thought it was kinda fun. In general it's just common sense collision avoidance. I never even saw an accident. The pollution and dust from vehicles in Cebu is bad though, especially in rush hour.
