@Rozienab thank you for sharing. Perhaps if one of the actresses got butt naked and had explicit sex then they too could have been nominated.

@Rozienab Ahhh...interesting! Did you feel like an outcast or isolated by your peers while growing up in poverty in New York? If so, how did you adjust and stay on the right track? How did you keep yourself grounded in other words? And you are absolutely right about family structure, psychological abuse, and mental slavery in poverty stricken communities perpetuated by the media whose aim is to keep certain people in certain places.
-
@Rozienab Are you a mentor? And if you don't mind my asking, what ethnic background do you derive? It seems you took every opportunity seriously and made something out of yourself, that is admirable. I agree, most kids in poverty are confused about their priorities and opportunities in life. The media has perpetuated images of what it means to be successful for blacks and many try to emulate it. They want to be like Lil Wayne and athletes. Having mentors and family structure is important!

@Rozienab Sorry, I didn't mean to say all republicans. Hard work is always key; however, lets be honest, shall we? I am not certain how you grew up or if you had those in your life to support you, but in my community, family and support are pretty rare. Some people need those programs temporarily, particularly those who are single mothers raising kids who are below the poverty line. Access to good education is not equal for all. Different situations for different people.
But the most important thing is that how the hell is what kanye said the worst point on Bush's career. What about war in iraq and afghanistan or maybe 9/11!!
