INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST BANKS AND
GLOBAL MARKET DICTATORSHIP
17 SEPTEMBER 2011 / ATHENS GREECE PUBLIC ASSEMBLY
For years now bankers and multinational corporations benefit against us.
An economic dictatorship built step by step from the markets and their employees. The political power implements projects globally and violates people's rights in the name of more profit and more bloody money.
Greece in the last two years has borrowed to unaffordable conditions over 200 billion euros of which more than 100 billions have gone to the banks while the government continues to fund this system with money taken from our pocket.
The source of evil is money and those that manage it. Private institutions, banks and multinational corporations are playing Monopoly on our backs. This must stop. We refuse to let the dictatorship of the markets and the mafia bankers to destroy our lives by looting our salaries and our pensions and by stealing our homes to save their banks.
We occupy the squares and react without flags and political symbols since all the parties serve the same system.
We want to end the economic oppression and to tear down the dictatorship of the markets that puts money over people.
It's time to break down the symbols of global economic mafia by creating a society that will not be ruled only by money.
So we all gather on Saturday, September 17 at Syntagma Square and all the squares of the world to raise our voices against our oppressors.
Because People are above money.
