This is for anyone who can try to tell me that homophobia doesn't exist anymore, or that it's not as bad as we make it out to be.
Homophobia hurts. It causes emotional damage, and in some instances, physical damage as well. So many people are oblivious to things that happen in today's world concerning homophobia. I've had so many people tell me that there is no homophobia anymore, but I ask you this. If homophpbia is no longer an issue, why is it still illegal in some places for same sex couples to get married? Why do we have such a harder time trying to adopt children. Why do we still deal with the hostile stares, the uncomfortable feelings, and the fact that there are some places we just don't "belong"? Just because someone loves differently than you do, does not mean that their love is wrong. I'll believe that homophobia has been trampled the day I can walk through the streets without being stared at, when I can be legally married without a hassle, and the day that people realize that this is who we are. We're born this way. God made us this way, and who are you to question God's creation?

Phobia means a fear of something. Arachnophobia is the irrational fear of spiders. Whether that may be a bite from a spider or a spider crawling on your body. Homosexuals try to equate a dislike for something as a fear for something.

It isnt a choice and im not gay.. I am biesexual. But know this i dont want to be bi. If it was my choice I would be straighter than a rod. But thats the way i was born and i cant change it

@anonymousdetriot you are completely right. but im not going to lie to you, i dont see how its possible to be homosexual but thats just the way i am. i dont have a problem with homosexuals and i accept them because my very own brother is gay. im sorry if your parents dont accept you for who you are, but this world isnt going to change for a while. PDA is also a personal choice, and if youre not comfortable with some people not accepting you then you should wait till youre alone.

The world is a cold place for me too...I can pray..Daddy and I are real good friends.. I have no one.. not a soul who really loves me.. people suck..BUT GOD and I are brothers..who love each other and there is no greater love than the Love of God..

what if people just dont like gay people? like white people dont like black people? peorsonaly i dont have a probem with gays i just avoid them. but i think there sexual status is more of a personal choice than say, skin color. if im wrong and gays are forced to be gay someone please tell me

@checkmcheckmcheckm I rest my case. Straight men should be castrated and then they would think with their brains and not with their penis's...At least Gay men actually have brains to think with.
