Actually "the source" is Mel Bays Chet Atkins three dimensions. Terry is A wonderful source of knowledge and A great teacher he has done alot with his talent and he hangs with some of the best in the world! This is just him tinkering, before slamming him you should all get the facts!

Chet Atkins used to take guitar lessons from Terry..." This is no doubt from the same source that says Chet ALWAYS used Fender guitars to record on and that Chet couldn't play live what he played on records. . Chet would incorporate a lick from someone now and again which is what guitarists do but as for "lessons"? Fom Terry?. Terry is a good, if showy, guitar player, but I agree with thcount. Where's the melody?

Terry is good friend, a super sweet guy...ego?? I have never seen anything but humility, One of the greats, like his friend, Lenny Breau who is a guitar player's guitar player....this Youtube video is just him poking fun at things most people get turned on by....not what exists at much deeper place in him....No matter what anyone says, Chet Atkins used to take guitar lessons from Terry...hum?
