At the 18th HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup, John Trudell, the most celebrated and respected Native American activist in the country, was inducted into the Counterculture Hall of Fame. Trudell's induction ceremony begins with a prayer by Quiltman, followed by Trudell's acceptance speech. Also included are the complete Indica entries into the Seed Company competition. Finally Soma, the winner of the competition, takes the stage to accept the Indica Cup.

The producer was probably hoping to achieve juxtaposition. For that you need two opposite things side by side. Which in this video is Trudell and Soma. They accept their cups in very different ways. Maybe the producer was hoping to show two contrasting ways to accept awards.

no offence ....this post would be stronger if you edited out the "buds" after Mr. Trudell speaks--It kind of ruins the tone. You should make a different video of the bud winners and that other crazy dude with the dreds-- just a suggestion.
