it is so horrible the media made this man out to be a racist. James Watson has made a massive impact on my life, I used to be racist, anti gay etc, but thanks to his and many other scientists work I appreciate life so much more, all walks of life, all colors, even insects. It does not even make sense to be racist scientifically. No way is he Racist.

Watson IS NOT A RACIST or a IDIOT.

he discovered the fucking DNA structure,

and awarded the Nobel Prize in 1962.

He has come to the conclusion that Some races are more intelligent that others, and being the one that discovered DNA, i sure as hell would look into his work then just call him a Racist,

And i do Agree with him, within 15 years, This Hypotheses will be fact, or fiction.

It may seem racist but it is not. Black people have more physical attributes than any other race, that is way they do better in sports. There is no white man that can do what they do in NBA or the Olympics. On the other hand white people are better in intellectual staff. There are always exceptions but that is the general idea

@HomogeneousEurope wow, old post, 3 years ago, thanks for reminding me. I did not say one could not appreciate life and be a racist and anti gay. I simply said I appreciate it so much more since i shed such horrible views, and Watson and his research helped me shed these things, as well as understand evolution, which only made my appreciation for life all the more profound, from the smallest insect to the tallest tree.

@Entanglement9 but... he didn't. I understand where you are coming from and appreciate your responding. Watson is the kind of guy who would admit if he honestly felt that people of certain colors were more or less intelligent. He is up front and honest about his atheism, a statement that gets you more heat than saying you are a racist now a days. He would admit it. You're right he does stick his foot in his mouth a lot, thats just cause he shoots from the hip. We all do that.

WATSON WAS PART OF A TEAM THAT UNCOVERED THE STRUCTURE TO DNA. HIS STUDENTS WORKED VERT VERY HARD. A WOMAN WHO WAS ALSO SCHEDULED TO BEAT HIM AND HIS PARTNER FACED SETBACKS AT THE TIME SHE WAS ABOUT TO PUBLISH. WATSON ALONE IS AN X-RAY CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC CHEMIST NOT A GENETICIST OR A BIOCHEMIST!! HE IS BRIGHT YES BUT HE IS NOT A GURU OF THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES IN FACT HE IS A BIT OF A FOOL IN THOSE AREAS
