Felt like sharing something from the mighty Ukelele. Here it is, an interpretation of the Tetris theme song (based on Traditional Russian music). Dedicated to my brother and his fiancé. Enjoy!
Thank you. I enjoy experimenting and diversifying playing techniques. This was inspired from the classical string and acoustic body tapping which I have observed in a range of iconic and contemporary musicians. I have dabbled with a similar effect on the acoustic guitar but haven't seen it employed on the uke. The effect lends it self well to the sound of the uke, but the challenge lies in the small body. I find that the thumb is instrumental in producing the effect.
Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The uke has grown on me recently, its a light and expressive instrument with a touch of novelty.
