Maluk Pithadhishvar Swami Shri Rajendra Das Ji Maharaj - Gopi Gitam

Shri Malook Pithadhishwara, Swami Shri Rajendra Dasa Ji Maharaj recites the Gopi geetam at the Shrimad Bhagavata Kathaa Saptaaha held at Shri Golok Dham Ashram in New Delhi from the 18th-25th February 2009 on the occasion of the 5th Anniversary of the Invocation of Bhagavan Shri Shri Radha Golokavihari Ji Bhagavan.

Shri Sadgurudev Ji Maharaj and Shri Gautameshvara Mahadeva Mahamandaleshwara Swami Shri Swaroopanand Sarasvati (Sihor, Gujerat) can be seen also enjoying the recitation. Also, Acharya Pt. Shri Hariprasad Shastri Ji (Brahma Vidya Mandir, Vrindavan) can be seen seated.

The Katha was immensely enjoyed by all the faithful vaisnavas in attendance, and it can humbly be said that the Shrimad Bhagavatam should definitely only be heard from such saintly Vaisnavas - no one else can do it justice. The wisdom filled, devotionally perfected delivery of Swami Shri Rajendra Das Ji exemplifies this point - upon which all Vaisnava acharyas agree.

Swami Shri Rajendra Das Ji is the current Pithadhishwara of the Malook Peeth, Vamsi Vata, Vrindavan; a seat of the Ramananda Sampradaya in Vrindavan. Maharaj personally is a great ascetic saint, whilst being a scholarly expert on all Vaisnava scriptures. He also personifies the great Vaisnava dictum - all Vaisnava sampradayas are Brothers in Devotion to God. His katha is supported by incidents in the lives of the great Vaisnava saints of Vrindavan, be they from the Nimbarka Sampradaya, the Gaudiya Tradition, the Ramananda/Ramanuja Sampradaya, the Madhva Sampradaya, the Visnusvami/Vallabha Sampradaya etc.
