KMFDM performing "Split" live in Palo Alto in 1992. From the DVD "Beat by Beat by Beat". Awesome song, too bad they don't play it live anymore (that I'm aware of). Sound is a little off, but that's entirely due to uploading it to youtube.

  • Not a big fan of the vocals, but the guitar/rhythm is simply awesome.

    I miss this stuff.

  • That's what I also love about this live version of "Split." The guitar is really catchy, too bad they didn't record it for their album.

  • Gunter Schulz Rocks. I'm glad KMFDM avoid the mainstream.

  • I love this. But I gotta know what kind of guitar is Gunther palying? That's so freaking awesome. I want one!

  • i like how En Esch pronounces his V's like W's..."WIOLENCE TURNS INTO FEAR!"

  • @EmptyClipsReloaded We used to call that design a "Warlock". It was common among death/speed metal bands in the 80s.

  • I love the way the video opens with Sascha thrashing at his drum pads in darkness! Then Gunter smoking and playing guitar... man. Its my favorite band of all time, put lightly.

  • I would have given my left nut to be at that concert!!!

  • KICK ASS
