hey there! Love these two. Does anybody know why they broke up the partnership? nothing more to bring to the floor or petty misunderstandings?

Hello my fellow tangueros. Is there anyone out there that has taken a class with Javier and could help me? I want to know how he leads the step that starts at 9 seconds, where Gerladine walks in a small circle and Javier walks in a bigger circle around her. When I do it the woman steps too big or thinks that it is a calasita and stays on one foot. Any tips?

Did you see when in milongas men try to lead small ochos to the women?I think it´s similar, but the diference is that the man goes around the woman and leading small steps follow him in the clouse side(right)and not leaving her to advance more than he leads her...I´m not a man,It´s only a simple conclusion...

I think the way he leads into this step at 8 seconds gives it away. The lead takes back steps and then circles around the follower... in a similar way to a 'calesita'. By this time the follower is already taking forward steps, she wont stop now unless you dont give her any space at all.

There is no step. Don't try to analyze or terminologize it. Try to understand how he uses his body to lead. That was how he taught me.

Thanks! Was there any other tips from the master? I can't afford the plane ticket.
