There is a great story where Ricky Ponting pulled of a ripper of a catch at 3rd slip. He dived in front of Mark Waugh at second slip and took it horizontally. Everyone came in and celebrated with Punter except for Mark Waugh who stood, rooted to the spot.

To be honest if an amateur cricketer take a slip catch of a bowler who bowls 80 mph then he is a pretty good slip fielder.

slip is the hardest place to field becoz i usually field at slip(in my cricket team in melbourne) and its reali hard. epscially when the delivery is reali quick and suddenly u just hav to dive and if u drop it it everybody will swear at u lolz
