  • I think you are wonderful X

  • @1882Wolfie thanks! I appreciate the sentiment.

  • The circa 50s washing machine that she kicked and screamed in defense of its repair, though a new one rested at the ready in her garden shed.

Convenient modern cooking utinsels, unpacked, divvied up upon her death.

Front room entered for first time without dread of her nervousness, then her treasured Best became our burden to store or throw away.

  • Most of my gran's stuff got shipped to my auntie in France. I got her piano but it needed repair and my father wasn't prepared to fork out the money to do so. He sold it for £50. I was not happy.

  • A powerful poem. Well done.

  • Thank you very much.

  • @Eliseharris I just love your vids, they are so natural and you are so lovely. I would like to re-make all mine but my computer is not letting me for some reason. X

  • @dialnick I don't know what pic you mean but all the pictures I have up were taken in the last three years.

  • deep thanks

  • that's very sad. loved the poem!

  • Oh that's sad!

Me Mom scored $85,000 as did her sister and brother, but wouldn't let me have the 2000 Honda Camery willed to me. Sold it WAY under book value and giggled like a school girl at her bounty. That kept me from unloading my 1993 Chevy Caviler for a sure $1200, phooey.

But yeah, I don't consider a piano to be an inanimate object, shame.
