Rising Eagle: Futuristic Infantry Warfare is a free multiplayer, first-person shooter by Invasion Interactive. The game is set in 2040 and features infantry level combat between the United States Marine Corps (USMC), the European Federation of Nations (EFN), the People's Liberation Army (PLA), the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The game was originally released at a price of $20 but it was released for free on April 16, 2008.

i think this game has an awesome concept.... the weaponsets on the heavies is quite good imo.

if you havent played the game: you can attach two guns to your suit, choosing from a set of heavy machine guns, machine cannons and grenade launchers.

the firepower you can put up is devastating, but somehow its not unbalanced.

with a better netcode, graphics and marketing, this game could inherit the role of the old tribes-games.
