To begin with, we would like to take this opportunity to say hello to our family and dearest friends. As most of you are aware, we have decided to send our 'save the date' in the form of a short promo. We have received many questions about this little teaser so we thought it would be a great idea to share our journey of creating our movie with you.

Initially we wanted to do something different in the form of a 'save the date' invitation and we decided to create a short wedding trailer. Therefore we involved one of our dearest friends, Sherif, to help us put this together (who better than someone pursuing his masters in filmmaking from San Francisco Film Academy???). Sherif loved the idea and so from there a mere idea became reality.

This was NOT a high budget production and was all shot in just two days. As should be obvious, this video was only ever intended for friends and family.

The chroma (green screen) shots took place at Sherif's house! Everything that was obviously not from a movie we filmed ourselves (our thanks goes to Tamer Joseph for helping us shoot the film). It was all edited using a mac.

After doing our research, we found Larry Wayne (the narrator) and sent him the script...he managed to surprise us with the outcome.

To give you a brief synopsis there is a "malice tyrant" (Ramez Riad - the Bride's brother) who lives in a village instilling fear unto all who live there. One day an " outlaw" (Tomas Abdel Malek - The Groom) arrives and grabs the attention of the "fair maiden" (Reham Riad - the Bride) in the village. This enrages the tyrant causing him to challenge the outlaw to a dual. The fair maiden takes the opportunity to free the village of the tyrant when she gets the chance and the rest of the movie speaks for itself...

The 'Beautiful Mind' scene was made possible, thanks to Sherif, who managed to secure the location and an old crane for the shot.

Yusra, Laila and Nardine managed the costume and props department, finding all the items that were needed.

We want to thank Sherif for all his endless love, energy and passion he spent on this production.

Maybe we'll post some behind-the-scenes footage some day.

Lots of Love!
