this sound could be the turbo charged, one year ago, my passat break down of the turbo and sound like this. Regards

My 02 a4 sounded like that but a little worse when my ac compressor took a shit. Take the serpentine belt off and see how it sounds

@JC199413 This isnt a big block chevy man, there is a thing called electronic throttle body or drive by wire.
