And now seriously question: Why Xl1s if i bet uve cash to buy e.g. XL-H1.

Thanks. This film was shot in Dec 2000, when the only camera available was canon XL1-1.

I try do feel-like cinema on this cam. I'm about to buy indoor lights kit for makeing better documentary films. What should i buy. And last questions - lens. Where can i buy it.

We achieved the cinema look on the XL-1 by shooting in "progessive mode" using the stock zoom lens that came with the camera. The most important factor was proper lighting. I rented a large lighting package and hired a DP who knew how to light well. Best of luck with your projects.
