I have made an all new film documenting the events of a fantastic place in Thanet. These extraordinary footage, shows events from 'H.MS. THANET'S arrival in Ramsgate Harbor in 1919, to visits from Royalty and Ramsgate in War time. I hope that you all enjoy this video and that it will make you think, about these events and the way it has shaped how the place we all love to call home today- as Ramsgate". This film is dedicated to Ramsgate! My favourite place in the world!

Thanks for this film. I was born in Ramsgate as was my mum and generations before her. It is great to see what the town was like back in their day and to see the things they talked about, like the marina and the sands train station.

a superb tribute, shame like margate the place has gone to pot over recent years, used to spend all my time as a kid around rams especially the harbour, great memories of the marina as well, another waste. when will the hms thanet film be ready to veiw
